24 persons injured in separate incidents

Barrackpur, Nov 16 (UNI) At least 24 people were injured in separate incident in North 24 Parganas today.

At least 14 passengers, including women and children, sustained injuries when a Sajirhat bound bus collided head on with a Dunlop-bound oil tanker on B T road at Kamarhati.

The injured were rushed to nearby hospital The drivers of both the vehicles fled away, police said.

In another incident, ten persons were injured in clashes between two trade union groups INTUC and CITU.

Three of the injured were admitted to ESI hospital, sources said.
