Four militants among 5 killed, ultra surrenders in J

Srinagar, Nov 15 (UNI) Security forces killed four militants, including two infiltrators, while the body of a 27-year-old youth was recovered even as a Hizbul Mujahideen Militant surrendered across Jammu and Kashmir during the past 24 hours, officials said today.

A defence spokesman said troops of 7 Garhwal Rifles killed two infiltrators near the Line of Control (LoC) in Machhil sector of Kupwara district in north Kashmir.

He said troops of 10 PARA gunned down a militant during a gun-battle in Bandipora district. The encounter was still on when reports last came in.
