Farmers in AP village resort to agitation on paddy price

Machilipatnam, Nov 15 (UNI) About 300 farmers of Gundupalem village in Machilipatnam mandal organised a rasta roko on the national highway near Machilipatnam demanding a support price of Rs 1000 per quintal for paddy in this kharif season, today.

Traffic between Challapalli-Machilipatnam was disrupted for an hour.

The sarpanch of Gundualem village led the agitation.
