Apollo Cancer Institute organises "Children's Day"

Hyderabad, Nov 15 (UNI) Children afflicted by Cancer today celebrated "Children's Day" at Apollo Cancer Institute here, with the theme 'Let's fight it out' to boost the morale of children suffering from cancer.

Hospital Director Dr Vijayanand Reddy said the programme was organised to provide moral courage and support to the children afflicted by cancer and their parents.

Tollywood film actor Parvati Melton participated in the programme as the Chief Guest.

An interesting outcome of the competitions organised as part of celebration, was the children with cancer scored over normal kids and cornered most of the prizes, a press release added.
