LG records 51% growth in revenue during festive season

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Country's leading consumer durable company LG Electronics India Ltd today said its revenue increased 51 per cent to Rs 1,132 crore during the festive season from Rs 749 crore for the same period a year ago.

The company registered a 78 per cent growth in its home appliance business, it said in a statement.

It recorded a 85 per cent value growth in refrigerators, 96 per cent growth in washing machines and over 85 per cent and 41 per cent growth in microwave ovens and air conditioner categories respectively.

LG's contribution in consumer electronics category this festive season has increased over 70 per cent from the same period last year, the statement added.
