Fire broke out in godown of arms dealer

Jodhpur, Nov 14 (UNI) Arms and ammunition worth about Rs 30 lakhs were damaged as a devastating fire broke out in the godown of an arms dealer at the Rai Bahadur Bazar area of the city this morning.

However, no casulty was reported District Police Superintendent Hawai Singh Dumriya said the fire was noticed at about 0530 hrs and it was brought under control after 30 fire tenders were pressed into service. It took several hours to bring the fire under control.

The reason for the fire is not immediatley known.

UNI
