Youth Cong members stage demo, condemning attack on Jayakumar

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 13 (UNI) Members of the South district unit of the Youth Congress today staged a slogan-shouting demonstration in front of the party headquarters here, condemning the attack on Tamil Nadu Youth Congress President Mayura Jayakumar at the party headquarters in Chennai on November 11.

The agitation, led by its District President M Saravanan, condemned the senior Congress leader and Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation, G K Vasan for his alleged involvement in the attack and also instigating the State Government to arrest former Tamil Nadu Youth Congress President Vishnu Prasad, MLA, in this connection.

They also condemned the state government for filing a case against Mr Prasad and others.
