SR announces reschedules due to Bengal bandh

Chennai, Nov 13 (UNI) The Southern Railway today announced rescheduled and cancelled trains in the Chennai Central-Howrah section in view of the Bengal Bandh and consequent dislocation of train services.

Train No 2840 Chennai Central-Howrah Mail scheduled to leave Central at 2335 hrs today, was rescheduled to leave at 0030 hrs tomorrow due to late running of pairing train.

Train No 2839 Howrah-Chennai Central Mail, which should have left Howrah at 2345 hrs yesterday and arrive in Central at 0345 hrs tomorrow and Train No 2842 Chennai Central-Howrah Coromandel Express scheduled to leave Central at 0845 hrs tomorrow were cancelled, a railway release here said.
