Jammu, Nov 13 (UNI) Claiming that imposition of emergency in Pakistan is not an ''aberration'', Jammu and Kashmir Governor S K Sinha today hoped that the neighbouring country would overcome its problems soon.

Interacting with the residents from Kupwara district after their return from 'Wattan Ki Seir' organised by the Army under Operation 'Sadhbhavna', Lt Gen (retd) Sinha said, ''We are concerned about the events taking place in our neighbourhood and wish that Pakistan overcomes its problems.'' ''Peaceful, stable and prosperous Pakistan is in the best interests of South Asian region, more so for India,'' he said, adding that the country, which had been supporting terrorism to its two neighbours, has itself fallen prey to the ''lunatic demon''.
