One hurt in blast at Khundru in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 13 (UNI) One person was wounded when an explosive device went off in open fields at Khundru in Anantnag district of south Kashmir last evening, police said today.

The incident came more than three months after a fire triggered a series of explosions at the Army's biggest ammunition depot at Khundru in south Kashmir on August 11, killing at least 20 people, wounding scores and rendering millions homeless.

Police said Aijaz Ahmad Bhat was wounded when the explosive device went off in the open fields at Pahloo in Khundru area last evening. He has been hospitalised.
