Lalu urged to help commission vendors at stations

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) Centre Of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) today dashed off a letter to Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, drawing his attention to the Northern Railways decision to stop using cooking gas cylinders, supplied by IRCTC to commission vendors at the Railway stations.

CITU president M K Pandhe and General Secretary Md Amin described the the order of the General Manager of Northern Raliway as unwarranted, directly creating a chaotic situation in Old and New Delhi station, where thousands of general passengers are facing tremendous problems during the Chhat puja festival.

They demanded Mr Prasad's immediate intervention into the matter, cancelling the existing order.
