Inquiry ordered into presence of worms in mid day meal

Chandigarh, Nov 13 (UNI) Chandigarh Administrator Gen (retd.) S F Rodrigues today ordered an inquiry into the reported presence of worms in mid day meal which was to be served to students in a school here.

The inquiry has been ordered to fix responsibility for this lapse and corrective measures are taken to prevent recurrence of such incidents.

He reiterated that the Chandigarh Administration was committed to ensure hygienic and high quality food to the school children.

Special Secretary Finance and DPI(C), Mrs Raji P Shrivastava will conduct the inquiry and submit report in 10 days.
