BJP-JD(S)
coalition
government
in
Karnataka
will
seek
a
vote
of
confidence
on
the
floor
of
the
State
Assembly
on
November
23.
Speaking to newspersons after the first cabinet meeting of the five-member ministry, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said ministers from coalition partner JD(S) would be inducted in four days time.
He said the government would prove his majority on the floor of the house only after the induction of ministers from JD(S).
Mr Yediyurappa said the government would protect the interest of all sections of the society, and priority would be given to maintain law and order situation in the state.
The BJP favoured governance through consensus, he added.
