Bangalore, Nov 12 (UNI) Another political party will spring in Karnataka on November 14 with Mahima J Patel, son of former Karnataka Chief Minister late J H Patel launching 'Suvarna Yuga' at Talakavery, the birth place of sacred river Cauvery.

Mr Patel told newsmen here that the party would be purely based on values and principles and not personality oriented.

Mr Patel, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly Channagiri on Janata Dal (Secular) ticket in the 2004 election, resigned to the primary membership of the party and cabinet rank portfolio of parliamentary secretary to Chief Minister in protest against the party not handing over the Chief Minister post to coalition partner BJP as per agreement.

He said that he will quit from the Assembly also.

Replying to a question, Mr Patel said that though 'remarriage' has taken place and BJP led coalition government assumed power there was no going back in his decision.

He said that the remarriage of BJP and JD(S) might be for many reasons including personnel protection feared by Legislators, but "I wish the new government all the best and let it perform well".

He said that "personal integrity has to be kept intact and awaken other like minded.

Mr Patel said that his party would be fielding candidates to all the 224 seats in the next Assembly elections and candidates would be from different fields who have integrity and commitment towards development of the State.

He said that Symbol and party flag would be finalised before launch.
