Ranchi, Nov 12 (UNI) The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) today took out a procession and burnt effigy of West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee here protesting aginst the Nandigram violence.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Disom Party president and former MP Salkan Murmu also reacted strongly to the incident saying the recurring violence leading to killing of common people exposed the ''real'' face of the Left parties.

In the afternoon, the NSUI-led procession converged at Albert Ekka Chowk here and criticised the Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee government in West Bengal and expressed condolences to the families of those innocent people killed in indiscriminate firing by the CPM cadres.

NSUI state secretary Hem Chakrabarty said '' the CPI (M) that claims to be followers of Left idealism can not afford to mask its true colour any more and the massacre at Nandigram is only reflecting 'inhuman' countenance of theirs.'' UNI
