AP Govt to provide protected water to flourosis-hit villages
Hyderabad, Nov 12 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government would provide protected drinking water to 28 habitations in Warangal district at a cost of Rs 302 crore, Rural Water Supply Minister P Venkateswara Rao said today.
Mr Venkateswara said this in reply to TRS Floor leader G Vijayarama Rao, who pressed for a comprehensive deflourodiation scheme for the Ghanapur constituency.
A preliminary survey was in progress to draw drinking water from the ongoing Godavari Lift Irrigation Scheme(GLIS) to the constituencies of Cherial, Jangaon and Station Ghanapur in Warangal district, he added.
