10th National kobudo Budokan Karate champ begins on Nov 17

Udupi, Nov 12 (UNI) Nearly 2000 karatekas would be seen in action in the 10th Tenth National Kobudo Budokan Karate Championship would be held here November 17 and 18.

Announcing this at the press conference here today, the president of the championship committee Sri Laxmivara Thirtha Swamiji of Udupi Shiroor Mutt said that competitions would be held in 120 sections for various age groups starting from age group of 6 years.

He said that Grand Champion competition would be held for the first place winners in Kate and Kumeute divisions for both men and women in Brown Belt and Black Belt.

The winner in the grand champion competition would be awarded with + Krishnanugraha 2007+ title.
