LJP condemns police action on intellectual, supports "Bandh"

Kolkata, Nov 11 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party tonight expressed shock at violence in Nandigram and condemned police action against prominent intellectuals during their protest march in the city today.

LJP's state president Mira Chakraborty in a statement also supported tomorrow's ''Bangla Bandh'' sponsored by the Congress to protest violence at Nandigram in East Midnapore.

The statement also urged the party supporters to ensure success to the bandh.
