Hisar, Nov 11 (UNI) Haryana was ahead of all states, except Goa, in per capita investment and income and the state government had a target of Rs two lakh crore investment in the industrial development, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said here today.

While addressing a press conference here, Mr Hooda said," We have done the development work in 32 months that was not accomplished in 32 years in the state. Haryana is going to be the number one state in the country. We have started schemes for the empowerment and upliftment of women, dalits, backwards, traders, labourers and employees and no section will be left out.'' Regarding a question about rebel Congress leader Bhajan Lal's new party he said, "I have heard only about a 'Chay'(tea) party , not more than this. So far, action against the rebels in the party is concerned it has to be done at the top level of the party." Mr. Hooda further said, ''No previous government tried to solve the power problem seriously but we have launched many electricity generation projects in the state and by next year the problem will be totally solved by the upcoming plants.''
