Unidentified criminals abduct a local businessman

Hajipur, Nov 09 (UNI) Unidentified criminals today abducted a local businessman from Premgunj mohalla under Lalgunj police station in Vaishali district.

Police here said Anil Kumar, a local businessman, was on way back home after collecting his due payment when unidentified criminals abducted him near Tohra pul under Lalgunj police station.

The reason behind the abduction was ascertained to extracting extortion money from the victims family.

An FIR had been lodged in the concerned police station and raids were on to nab the criminals, police added.
