Two incidents of chain-snatching registered

Mumbai, Nov 9 (UNI) City police has registered two cases of Mangalsutra-snatching in western suburbs during last 24 hours.

According to police sources, a Mangalsutra worth Rs 24,000 of Vijaya Padwal (40) was snatched by two unidentified motor bike riders at Kasturba Road, Borivali in western suburbs.

Ms Padwal said in her complaint that around 1620 hours she alongwith her friend was on her way to Borivali Railway station, when two motor bike riders came and snatched her mangalsutra.

In another incident at Kandivali, a mangalsutra of Ranjna Sidhpura (25) was snatched in a similar way by two more motor bike riders.
