Paswan assures uninterrupted supply of fertilisers to MP

Bhopal, Nov 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Ram Vilas Paswan to ensure uninterrupted supply of fertilisers to the State as per requirement.

Mr Chouhan met Mr Paswan at Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi yesterday.

Mr Paswan assured that there would be no shortage of supply of fertilisers and it would be supplied according to the needs of the State, an official release said here today.

The Chief Minister thanked Mr Paswan for supplying fertilisers during the current rabi season and urged him to maintain supply on time and as per needs in future.

Mr Paswan praised Mr Chouhan for providing timely information to the Centre about the scheduled programme of the State's needs, supply and distribution of the fertilisers.

During the discussions, Union Chemicals and Fertiliser Secretary Dr J S Sharma, Principal Secretary (Agriculture) in the Madhya Pradesh Government, Mr Pravesh Sharma, and Secretary to Chief Minister S K Mishra were also present, the release added.
