Militant killed, hideout busted in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 9 (UNI) Security forces busted a hideout and killed a militant in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said.

He said a joint search party of Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and 55 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) conducted a search operation at village Grewgund in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.

During the operation four hand grenades were recovered from the house of one Mohammad Yousuf Rather.

He said an encounter took place between the personnel and militants at Deradori Behak, in which one militant was killed.
