Leading india on the victory paths my top priority: Kumble

Bangalore, Nov 8 (UNI) Newly appointed team Indian captain Anil Kumble today said that his top priority will be taking the Indian team on the winning ways.

Reacting to his appointment as the Indian captain here he said leading india was a high pressure job for anybody but he was looking forward challenge.

Kumble replaces Rahul Dravid who resigned as a Indian cricket captain after the English tour.

For me personal ambition had always remained much below the teams's interests and my only ambition now is to take India to series win against Pakistan, which has eluded us on the home soil.

Pakistan are always tough competitors, he said.
