from
Kerala,
will
take
off
from
the
Karippur
International
Airport,
near
here,
for
Jeddah
in
Saudi
Arabia
on
November
11.
''The flight would be flagged off by Air India Station Manager Yogesh Munduwa,'' alhind Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd Manager (India) K Sree Kumar told newspersons here today.
He said about 9,000 pilgrims from the private quota would proceed for the holy pilgrimage to Mecca during this season.
Apart from AI, they would be flown to Jeddah by Saudia, Sri Lankan Airlines, Oman Airlines and Emirates from different airports, including Delhi and Mumbai, Mr Sree Kumar said.
A Haj camp set up by the travel agency for the convenience of devotees at Kondotty in neigbhouring Malappuram district would be inaugurated tomorrow, he added.
