Cool weather in Delhi on Diwali

New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) The city woke up to a cool morning today, with the minimum temperature recording a decrease of two degrees Celsius caused by rains yesterday, bringing cheer to Delhiites on Diwali.

Yesterday rains caused a drop in temperature giving people in the city a perfect weather to enjoy the ''festival of lights.'' However, the maximum temperature rose to 30 degrees as against 26.5 degrees recorded yesterday, the Met office said.

The department has forecast mist or shallow fog in the morning with a mainly clear sky in the next 48 hours.
