Attack on Medha Patkar condemned

Puducherry, Nov 9 (UNI) Puducherry based Federation for People's Rights today strongly condemned the attack on social activist Medha Patkar at Nandigram in West Bengal.

In a statement here, Federation Secretary G Sugumaran alleged that the CPI(M) in West Bengal was gradually ignoring democracy and the attack on Ms Patkar was an attack on democracy.

He demanded that the culprits be booked and adequate security be provided to Ms Patkar.
