Abducted tea manager released

Mangaldai, Nov 9 (UNI) The abudcted tea estate manager, Birinchi Bharali, was today released by suspected Adivasi militants after paying the ransom money.

Police informed that he was released near Bahipukhuri by four militants, who took him on cycle and released.

Police suspected that his release was bought by the family.

The fifty-year-old tea planter, Mr Bharali, was abducted by four gun-toting militants on November one at around 9-45 PM from his bunglow at Orang Tea Estate.

The personal vehicle of the planter was later found near a river side of Lamabari Tea Estate on Assam-Arunachal Border.
