Photo submission mandatory at Chhattisgarh's police stations

Korba, Chhattisgarh, Nov 7 (UNI) People approaching Chhattisgarh's police stations to lodge complaints will now have to submit passport-size photographs in pursuance of a state High Court directive issued on January 11, official sources said.

After hearing an appeal by Madhavi Phagnu and others, the bench said that photographs of the petitioner and witnesses be affixed on chargesheets.
