Hooda greets people on the eve of Diwali

Chandigarh, Nov 8 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today extended his greetings to the people of Haryana on the eve of auspicious occasion of Diwali.

In a message issued here today, the Chief Minister said " The festival of lights symbolised the triumph of light over darkness. May this Diwali also further strengthen our resolve to eradicate the darkness of illiteracy, superstitions and other social evils from the society and bring more prosperity to the state." He urged the people to celebrate Diwali with traditional fervour and gaiety as such festivals help in strengthening national integration and communal amity.
