Himalya signs pact with Dr Beyer for mushroom facilities expansion

New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) Himalya International Ltd, a Himachal Pradesh-based processor and exporter of mushroom, cheese and baby potato, today said it has inked a pact with US-based Dr Beyer of State College for biological consulting and capacity augmentation plans.

Under the agreement, the company will be provided with latest technology that will leapfrog mushroom production from current levels by at least 50 per cent, a company statement said.

Dr Beyer will also help the company for its mega expansion plans of mushroom facilities and will be paid fixed fee, besides, rewards based on increased yields, the statement added.
