Doctor travelling in a Ranchi-bound bus waylaid by miscreants

Lohardaga, Nov 8 (UNI) Armed miscreants waylaid a Ranchi-bound bus coming from Daltonganj and kidnapped a doctor at Pachambamore in this district of Jharkhand today.

According to police, Dr Amar and his wife Dr Urmila Srivastava from Daltonganj district were travelling in the bus bound for the state capital.

As the bus reached Pachambamore, about 20 miscreants dressed as army jawans stepped into the bus and dragged out Dr Amar and fled from the scene.

His wife lodged a complaint with the Kuru police station and senior oficials from adjacent Latehar district and Lohardaga were making raids to arrest the culprits.

Police were yet to confirm if the incident was done by ultras or by some criminal gang.
