Delhi LG, CM wish people on Diwali

New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) Delhi Lt Governor Tejender Khanna and Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today conveyed their best wishes to people on the occasion of Diwali tomorrow.

In his message, Mr Khanna expressed hope that this festival will bring light into homes, hearts and minds of all citizens of Delhi.

The Chief Minister said she hoped that Diwali would bring happiness, joy, prosperity for everybody.

She said joy of Diwali would continue to inspire people throughout the year to involve themselves in progress of their family and nation.

Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Dr Jagdish Mukhi, State unit chiefs of the BJP and Congress Dr Harsh Vardhan and J P Agarwal, respectively, have also extended their good wishes to the people on the occasion.
