Cops vandalise house of SHO murder accused

Hardoi, Nov 8 (UNI) Agitated policemen vandalised the house an accused in the murder of a Station House Officer (SHO).

SHO Jai Prakash Singh was shot dead by Beta Singh, when he went to arrest him on Tuesday in village Sarai Raghav here.

Late last night, a group of policemen vandalised Beta's house in the village, sources today said.

The enraged policemen also barged into the house of Beta's relative Chenab Singh and created ruckus.

Meanwhile, senior police officials declined to comment on the matter.

Beta, facing charges in nearly 24 criminal cases, had been arrested.
