100 Diwali cracker stalls gutted in fire

Sirsa, Nov 8: As many as 100 stalls selling fire crackers were gutted in a fire in the National Government college grounds here today.

According to the police, the fire first broke out in one of the stalls and gradually the flames engulfed almost all the stalls set up in the college campus on the occasion of Diwali. Fire tenders reached the spot and managed to control the raging flames.

Initial reports said that there was no loss of life. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
