UP minister suspected of girl student's abduction

Faizabad, Nov 6 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Food Processing Minister Anand Sen Yadav is under the umbrella of suspicion following the arrest of his former driver in connection with the abduction of a girl student here.

Mr Yadav is a state minister of Independent charge, while his father, Mitrasen Yadav, is an MP from Faizabad parliamentary constituency.

On October 22, Shashi, a law student, went missing under mysterious circumstances from Inayatnagar area, Police Superintendent (city) Gopesh Nath Khanna said, adding that the minister's former driver was being interrogated in connection with the crime.

The victim's father, Yogendra, has accused the minister of her daughter's abduction.
