TDP leader demands suspension of Congress MLC

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) spokesperson N Rajakumari today urged Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman A Chakrapani to suspend Congress MLC Ganga Bhavani for allegedly attacking her.

In a memorandum submitted to the chairman, she claimed that Ms Bhavani had no right to continue as an MLC after she, along with other women activists, stormed into her house and attacked her recently.

It may be recalled that irked by Ms Rajakumari's criticism of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Ms Bhavani, along with her followers, had gone to Ms Rajakumari's house and allegedly attacked her.

The chairman promised to look into the matter.
