President condoles death of Ramakrishna Mission Chief

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) President Pratibha Patil today condoled the death of Ramakrishna Mission Chief Swami Gahanananda who died on Sunday.

In her condolence message, the President said Swami Gahanananda was dedicated to the welfare of poor and needy throughout his life.

Swami Gahanananda, the 14th President of the Belur Math and Ramakrishna Mission, passed away on Sunday in Kolkata after protracted illness. He was 91.
