Nuclear Power Corporation signs MoU with MTNL AND BSNL

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) Public sector undertaking Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) has signed a memorandum of Understaing (MoU) with telecom PSUs, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), under which NPCIL will get preferred customer status for all gamut of services provided by them.

The MoU will be effective for a period of five years, a NPCIL statement said today.

The services, under the MoU, signed yesterday, include basic mobile broadband, internet services, leased lines, Wi-Fi.

After the signing ceremony, senior officials from both the telecom PSUs held a meeting with NPCIL Chairman and Managing Director S K Jain along with other officials and discussed issues concerning the present services and growing communication needs of the power sector PSU, especially for the remotely located projects.
