NR to ply spl train to Bihar for Diwali, Chhat

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) As part of special arrangements for Diwali and Chhat, Northern Railway will run an unreserved special train from Sirhind to Muzaffarpur and Muzaffarpur to Delhi Jn to clear extra rush of passengers of Diwali&Chhat Puja festivals.

It will also run five extra trips for the 0416 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Patna Special Train and its counterpart from train.

A NR statement said a skelton service will be available at IRCA, Delhi Jn. and Hazrat Nizamuddin reservation offices upto 1800 hrs, while all other PRS locations will remain closed during the evening shift(from 14.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs).

Current Reservation Counters at New Delhi Station ( Paharganj and Ajmeri Gate side) and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations will work as usual at usual timings.

Giving details about the special train, the NR statement said the 4674A Sirhind-Muzaffarpur mail/express special train will depart from Sirhind on tomorrow at noon to arrive at Muzaffarpur at 1510hrs the next day.

In the return direction the 4673A special train will depart from Muzaffarpur on November 8 at 2005hrs to arrive at Delhi Jn. at 115hrs the next day.

Comprising of sixteen general second class and two luggage van coaches the Special train will halt at Rajpura, Ambala, Jagahdari, Saharanpur, Laksar Junction, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur City, Burhwal, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Bhatni, Siwan, Chhapra, Sonepur, and Hazipur stations enroute.

The 0416 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Patna Special Train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 2300hrs to reach Patna at 1850 hrs the next day. It will ply on November 8, 11, 14 and 17, apart from departing yesterday.

In the return direction, the 0415 Patna-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Special Train will depart from Patna at 2300hrs on to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 1930hrs the next day. Other than today's trip, it will ply on November 9, 12, 15 and 18.

Comprising of Three Second Class Sleeper, Ten general second class coaches besides two luggage vans, the 0415/0416 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Patna Special Train will halt at Delhi Jn., Delhi Shahdara, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Kanpur Central, Allahabad, Mughal Sarai, Buxar, Ara, and Danapur stations enroute in both the directions.
