Eleven awarded life imprisonment in Darbhanga

Darbhanga, Nov 6 (UNI) A local sessions court today sentenced eleven people to life imprisonment in connection with a kidnapping cum murder case.

The Court also slapped a fine of Rs 15,000 each of the convicts.

Additional district and sessions judge Avinash Kumar Sinha found all the accused guilty of killing Sadurul Hassan and Ramraji Majhi.

According to the charges, the victims were kidnapped and subsequently killed by the convicts in July 2004 at Metha village under Kusheshwar Asthan police station area in the district.
