Deepavali bonus for TN coop society employees

Chennai, Nov 6 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today announced bonus and ex-gratia for the employees of state cooperative societies on the occasion of Deepavali festival.

In all, 73,000 employees would be given a total bonus of Rs 15 crore, an official release here said.

The employees would be given a minimum of Rs 4,200 and a maximum of Rs 8,400, the release said.

Those who were not eligible for the bonus would be given an ex-gratia of Rs 1,500 (district cooperative societies) and Rs 1,200 (other societies), the release added.
