Court grants bail to Ashok Malhotra

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) A CBI court today granted bail to Ashok Malhotra, prime accused in the DDA land scam case.

Special Judge CBI S K Kaushik ordered the release of the accused on interim bail till November 22 on furnishing a bail bond of Rs one lakh and a surety of the like amount.

Malhotra has pleaded that the CBI had not even arrested the other accused named in the chargesheet filed yesterday in the court by the CBI.

The court also granted bail to the accused A K Mishra, who is also facing trial in Dhirpur land scam.

On the same grounds, the court also granted bail to MCD officials accused in the Molar Band land scam case.
