Two criminals shot dead in encounter

Satna, Nov 4 (UNI) Two criminals, who were carrying rewards on their heads, were today killed in an encounter with police at Majhganva area in the district, police said.

Bhind-resident Arvind Singh Tomar, who carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, and Morena-resident Krishnapal Singh, who carried a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, were shot dead.

Two rifles, one gun and five cartridges were seized from them.

On a tip-off, a police team led by Deputy Inspector General of Police Gajiram Meena stopped the duo's car. Both opened fire immediately and were killed in police retaliation.

UNI
