Participating in the 'Tamizhaga Peruvizha' here last night, Mr Nedumaran charged that it was highly condemnable that the Indian Government kept mum whenever LTTE leaders were killed by the Sri Lankan military.
He alleged that the Sri Lankan Navy had so far killed 800 Indian fishermen. ''Indian Navy, claimed to be Asia's second largest, was not able to protect our fishermen from the hands of Sri Lankan Navy,'' he alleged.
He said Indian fishermen should be given training in self protection.
Meanwhile, supporters of Tamil Ealam and Sri Lankan Tamil supporters of Pudukkotai district took out a silent procession at Pudukkottai city yesterday to mourn the death of Thamilselvan and other LTTE leaders who were killed in a raid by Sri Lankan Air Force.
