Teachers hold demonstration in front of CI office

Sambalpur, Nov 5 (UNI) Hundreds of teachers of different government and other high schools today held a demonstration in front of the office of the circle inspector (CI) of schools here demanding regularisation of jobs and benefits at par with the government teachers.

Earlier, the teachers marched through the thoroughfares of the town shouting slogans in supports of their demands.

The education of students in district suffered as the teachers of schools under the block grant scheme have also ceased work since November 1 demanding regular pay at the revised rate.
