Swamy against Karunanidhi eulogising LTTE leader

Chennai, Nov 5 (UNI) Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy today took exception to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi eulogising LTTE Political chief S P Thamilselvan, killed in an air strike, as ''Tamil blood was flowing in his veins''.

Dismissing the claim as bogus, Dr Swamy, in a statement here, said that ''as a Chief Minister, who has taken oath of office under the Indian Constitution, he should have Indian blood.'' He wondered about Congress President Sonia Gandhi's ''deafening silence'' on Mr Karunanidhi's praise for one of the leaders of LTTE, which had assassinated her husband and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
