SKD denounces Centre's approach on nieghbouring countries

Jaunpur, Nov 5 (UNI) Samajwadi Kranti Dal (SKD) president Beni Prasad Verma has lambasted the UPA regime at the Centre for adopting 'lackadaisical attitude' in matters relating to the neighbouring countries.

''India should have good relations with the neighbouring countries...the central government should make efforts to build mounting pressure on the military ruler with the help of powerful countries like America, so that democracy can be restored in Pakistan,'' the SKD leader told mediapersons here yesterday.

Flaying the central government for its 'lackadaisical behaviour,' Mr Verma said the government was keeping a mum the issue, which was not right.

''It is the time when security should be beefed up at the Indo-Pak border...as 'Kargil' happened during the regime of General Pervez Musharraf itself,'' Mr Verma noted.
