Reliance Money to install financial desk at McDonald's

Chandigarh, Nov 5 (UNI) Reliance Money today announced its tie-up with McDondld's to install financial desk at various McDonald's outlets in North India to give financial guidance to their customers.

The tie-up was announced by Reliance Money Director and CEO Sudip Bandyopadhyay and McDonald's officials, at a press conference here today.

''The financial desk will be manned by Reliance Money representatives who will explain the various Reliance Money offerings like Free Trading Account, Gold Coin Retailing, Mobile Financial Portal, Reliance Money Express etc to customers and will also assist them in opening a Reliance Money Account,'' Mr Bandyopadhyay said.

''This concept, initially launched as a pilot in North India would be extended to all the other McDonald's outlets over a period of time.'' ''Reliance Money is also in talks with McDonald's for putting up trading kiosks at all their outlets. The company had earlier announced its plan to deploy over 10,000 such kiosks in leading retail chains across the country, the biggest deployment by any company globally,'' Mr Bandyopadhyay said.

Reliance Money today also announced a free trading account for one year for the customers opening demat accounts with the company in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal.

Under this scheme, Reliance Money would be waiving off Rs 500, charged for trading upto Rs 5 lakh, for first year, in case the customers open account with Reliance Money during the next few weeks. Customers wanting to trade beyond Rs 5 lakh would have to pay Rs 500 for trading upto Rs 1 crore (for two months) or Rs 2500 for Rs 6 crores (for one year), Mr Bandyopadhyay said.
