Pidilite Ind to invest Rs 450 cr for new unit

New Delhi, Nov 5: Adhesive maker Pidilite Industries Ltd today said it will invest about Rs 450 crore for setting up a manufacturing unit at Dahej in Gujarat.

''The unit will manufacture about 25,000 tonnes of synthetic elastomer,'' a company statement said.

The company had announced its plans of acquisition of plant, machinery, technology, patent and trademark of an international specialty chemical company earlier this year.
